Note
Hey, I'm Silver Spoon. I, like, love creating and designing cutlery. My Dad, Fine Sterling, is the CEO of Sterling Silver Stores, a chain of jewelry shops all around Equestria. Diamond Tiara, like, my best friend ever, has been missing (She's actually on an extended vacation... I think.) for almost a whole year. I... miss her. ---Silver Spoon is currently 17 years old in this website's canon---

  1. @taskmaster # Hey you! We're waiting on a reply.

  2. @taskmaster @doctorwhooves Silver hung on the edge of consciousness, gasping for breath. If she'd had the energy, she would have smiled at her Doctor. "T- thank... you." She rasped, tears forming in her eyes. At long last, she was safe. Her head fell softly to the Doctor's chest and her body grew limp. A warm tingle spread across her skin, beckoning her heart to be still. Safe. The only sound that mattered now was the soft drumming of her Doctor's hearts...

  3. @taskmaster @doctorwhooves Silver soared out into open air. Far below her, she saw the sea, swirling and angry. She could hear its hiss over the wind, beckoning her to fall. She didn't bother to scream or brace herself. She was too tired to, anyways. Suddenly, something crashed into her. In an instant, it pinned her hooves to her side and rolled underneath her. She felt her skull jolt as she and the thing hit rock.

  4. @taskmaster The exit's rusty hinges snapped with a clank and Silver toppled forward with the door. A thunderous boom echoed as the metal crashed to the rock. Silver felt as though she'd been kicked in the gut. It was too much. She couldn't take any more... but she was so close. In a final act of desperation, the mare kicked herself forward, leaping off of the fallen door... and over a ledge.

  5. @taskmaster @doctorwhooves The door swung open a hair's breadth before grinding to a halt against the rock floor. Instantly, a line of pale blue light seeped from the gap, bringing with it a faint puff of wind. The outside! Suddenly, the idea of her escape seemed real. Freedom was just inches away... Without warning, the clamor behind her grew to a fever pitch. The tumult made her heart jump! Panic and adrenaline took hold and set her into motion. Springing back, Silver steadied her hooves, then charged the door. A mere instant before she hit, she tucked her head aside and rammed it with her shoulder. The exit exploded open with a great screech, and daylight flooded the cave.

  6. @doctorwhooves @taskmaster It was as if the darkness had smacked her in the face. She hadn't expected his horn would stop glowing... "Oy! What happened?" A weaselly voice echoed from the tunnel. "She's gettin' away!" Another voice roared, "Get 'er!" The horrible clanking and scuffling that came from behind jolted her into action. Silver stumbled as quickly as she could to where she thought the door was, holding a hoof in front of her so she wouldn't slam her snout against it. Every moment the racket grew louder. They were close, practically right at her back! Knob... knob... where was the damn knob?! "Ha!" She exclaimed as she found the door's handle. Twisting it instantly, she pushed...

  7. @doctorwhooves @taskmaster Silver didn't give him the satisfaction of an answer and merely scowled. "Come now, there's no need to be cross." He crooned, pulling her to his side. "At least, there isn't yet!" She jerked away from him, but had nowhere else to go. "Ahh, see. Why do you resist...? It only wears you down." The stallion hummed. It was then that she saw the door on the other side of him. It was a wooden door embedded in the rock. If she could make it there... "Gen'lecolts, if it please you, we need to be outta 'ere shortly. So wo-" Silver saw her chance and bolted, jumping into the face of the stallion before he could react. She lashed out with her front two hooves and made solid contact with his head. Instantly, the light went out.

  8. @doctorwhooves @taskmaster Very quickly the walls began to close in, the space tapering until she felt stone scrape against her flanks. If it weren't for the chill breeze constantly cooling her face, she felt like she would suffocate. She stumbled on, trying to fit her legs through the craggy, sloped path. Silver grunted with exertion and focus. 'Nearly there.' She told herself, unsure if she was right. 'I'm almost through.' And she wanted it to be true. Her neck ached from staring down at her feet, and she was sure her sides were bleeding by now... " 'Ere now, darlin'. I'm just up ahead, no need to fret." The voice came, as if responding to her distress. Suddenly, she was out. In an instant, the narrow tunnel widened out into a dark expanse. "There you are..." Said a ragged voice, as a low, gloomy light appeared. She could see now that the room was circular and mostly empty. The only things in it, besides a few stalagmites and stalactites, were a door on the opposite side and several pairs of old-looking shackles. "Welcome, my lady." The stallion snickered. It was his horn that lit the room. # More coming still.

  9. @taskmaster @doctorwho The guards stirred anxiously before pressing forward. They didn't seem too happy to be going in there, wherever it was. Before the group had made it to the hole, the goon ahead of them vanished into it. She could taste the stale, dank air as she was hauled further. " 'Urry up now, boys." A voice echoed from the cave, "Get 'er in 'ere!" It demanded. An icy rattling, like the sound of chains pulled across the floor, rung from deeper in. As they reached the entrance, the mob dissolved, forming a single straight line. "Send 'er in first." The voice instructed. Instantly, Silver was jostled to the front. A second, foul blast of air licked around her, making her mane stand on end. Before she could take even a step back, she was kicked in. She grunted, managing to catch her balance on the jagged wall. Once her eyes adjusted, she moved forward, clinging to the wall. # To be continued when I return.

  10. @taskmaster @doctorwhooves It was torture, knowing she couldn't escape... couldn't help... couldn't do anything. She'd fought the thugs all the way down the corridor, making them work for every inch. She bit, bucked, and thrashed, but still, it wasn't enough. When they'd nearly reached the end of the hallway, one of the guards broke from the group and hurried to the wall. Silver was too busy wrestling with the other five to notice what he did, but a moment later, the stone wall flew open. A sour-smelling rush of air made the lights in the hall flicker ominously. It was like the breath of some foul creature... and that hole was the mouth... She stopped writhing for long enough to shudder.

  11. @taskmaster Before she had covered half the distance between herself and Task, the guards took hold of her again. They wrenched her back by her her tail and her hindquarters. She bucked again, but missed. Already, she felt her muscles tighten with exhaustion. "Please..." Suddenly, the weight of one of the stallions was on top of her, pinning her to the floor. Even still, she didn't give up.

  12. @taskmaster Silver continued to thrash as she was hauled into submission. Her hind hooves connected with one of the cronies, and she was free for a moment. The mare clattered to the ground and began to crawl towards Taskmaster. "DOCTOOOOR!" She roared to her friend, her eyes spilling with tears. "PLEASE, DOCTOR!!"

  13. @taskmaster Though Silver was half-blinded by tears, she was still sensible enough to put up a fight. In pure fury, she lashed out at the guard nearest her, bucking him hard in the neck. "I'LL KILL YOU!" She finished at last, throwing herself away from guards and toward her betrayer.

  14. @taskmaster It was a strange thing- a black thing. Silver's face was no longer corrupted by a fake frown. "No..." Her voice trembled. "You said..." The mare grit her teeth until she could taste blood. She couldn't help that her eyes were welling up, and she hated it. "Is this the same thing you did to Diamond? Because... if it is, I'll... I'll..."

  15. @taskmaster The way they were talking... she felt like she was a fine cut of meat being sold at a market. As she glimpsed up, Silver felt her sickness return. The pack of stallions was glaring hungrily down at her. She quickly let her eyes fall. It was all too real... she couldn't tell if the masked pony was still playing his game, or if this was really happening. 'Have a little faith, kid!~' She heard his voice hiss inside of her head. Ah well, she might as well play along. Silver put on a clumsy frown. "You'll never get away with this." She growled.

  16. @taskmaster Instantly she knew all attention was on her. She could feel the guard's eyes ripping the hide from her back. "Yes." The curtness of her voice surprised even herself. "My guide and I were told to met with him at this time. Now... get out of my way." Thank Celestia it was raining, because she was sweating profusely.

  17. @taskmaster Somehow she knew that he would fit in here. For a brief moment, horrible thoughts roamed her mind. What if all of this was really an intricate plot to kidnap her... what if Diamond fell for the same thing...? If that was true, it was far too late to back out now. "Hmm? It's... well. It's okay, really." What was with this sudden change in attitude? "Thank you." She knelt and unstrapped her bag, passing it quickly to him.

  18. @taskmaster Silver Spoon looked on warily at the evil faces along the road. From the corners and shadows they beckoned her. The smell of wet filth wafted thick in the air. Even in her nightmares, should could never have imagined such a place... She nodded frantically to her guide, staying as close to him as she could. The moment he pulled at her glasses, she jumped. "Jeez. Can't you warn me first?" She murmured, "And yes, I can see fine... sort of." She squinted into the distance, recalling her surroundings. "Why?"

  19. @taskmaster "What! Like, was there even a point to having me dress up?" She growled in fury and embarrassment. Honestly, the way he operated made her so frustrated. He never told her what was coming next, slowed down, or recognized her frustration... It felt exactly like she was dealing with a stricter version of her parents. Once again, before she could fully comprehend what he had said to her, he was gone. Having no time to complain, she simply hurried along.

  20. @taskmaster "Um... no." Her head sunk and she sighed. "Couldn't you just..." She began, before glancing up and seeing that he'd walked away. Things were not going her way. Still, she thought, it could be worse. "Right." Silver whispered. Slipping aside, she discovered a narrow alley. Grimy... but it would have to do. As quickly as she could, Silver slipped off her adventuring gear, packed it into her saddlebag, and donned her new... rather uncomfortable... suit. Why the hell did villains ever think dressing in all leather was a good idea? It was so stiff and her sweat made the material stick and pull at her skin. But finally, she managed its adjustment, and a new Silver Spoon emerged from the alleyway.

  21. @taskmaster Silver accepted the suit with weary disgust. Normally she would have continued to protest, but she had no will or energy left to do so. Besides, not complaining would bring them to Diamond faster. Odd... so much of this trip was centered around Diamond. Finding her, rescuing her... Silver felt like she couldn't even go five minutes without thinking about her. What had changed between them...? "Hmm!" She hummed in surprise, "Oh, wait, I have to dress right here? Isn't there, like, a changing room?"

  22. @taskmaster The mare nodded and nodded again. Everything seemed sped up, but she tried to listen. "Why that company in particular?" She asked, a bit uncomfortable from his measurements. "Um. Wait. Leather... You want me to hide and avoid foalnappers by wearing... leather?"

  23. @taskmaster Silver wholeheartedly accepted the mint and popped it in her mouth. "Thhk..." She choked, "Thank you." The sharp flavor of peppermint invaded her mouth, and helped clear her head. After a minute of struggling, she finally stood straight and motioned to her guide. "Okay, let's go."

  24. @taskmaster "Mmmuuh..." She moaned. "Okay. Just, no more flying, falling, or... heights, please." Silver still looked a bit green, but her regular color was beginning to return. Amazingly, her saddlebag was still attached, if only barely. It listed dangerously to one side, adding to the mare's already disheveled appearance.

  25. @taskmaster Silver's only answer was a gag. Finally, her gut had had enough, and decided to make its agitation known. She turned away and heaved up the contents of her stomach. Tears had formed in her eyes. Silver wiped her mouth and made a sickened face. "I... I'm s- sorry."

  26. @taskmaster Silver's eyes shot open. This time she was sure that she was going to be sick. "Ugh uhhh..." She groaned before nodding. "What... now?"

  27. @taskmaster The young mare didn't rise. Her ears twitched, but every other part of her was still. It seemed that the fright and the force of the fall had knocked her unconscious.

  28. @taskmaster Silver was too busy attempting to scream to notice the pony talking to her. Death. She was going to die- splattered all over the ground in a gruesome mess. Her parents... how would they ever find her? "H-heeeelp!" She rasped with the last of her breath. All in a moment, she noticed the figure next to her. As well as she could, she pleaded to him with her eyes. It was then that she heard his command. Silver nodded and kicked out to the right and purely by luck, she drifted farther left.

  29. @taskmaster "WHAT?! She shrieked, barely able to hear herself over the sudden surge of wind behind her. Silver whipped around just in time to see the masked pony throw himself out. His body hung stiffly in place for a moment, then was hurled away by a blaze of air. For the umpteenth time since she'd met this stranger, she gasped in horror. "Time for you to follow, lil' lady." A gruff voice said at her side. Before she could even flinch, two strong hooves gripped her saddlebag and tossed her through the door and into the void. "NOO-" Her voice caught in her throat as she plunged away into black nothingness.

  30. @taskmaster # Yes, that's fine. # "Mm, hmm!" Silver blinked the water from her eyes. "Wha, what- Why did you do that?" She asked, her drowsiness trading with irritation.
